Bridge to Salvation: My Encounter with Juan

Last year, I was standing in the middle of a bridge over Creve Coeur Lake when I encountered a man named Juan. I handed him a tract and told him that God loved him and had a wonderful plan for his life.

Juan was unaware that he could have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. I explained how Jesus came to Earth and died for our sins, allowing Juan to be completely forgiven and accepted by God. He began to cry and expressed a desire to pray. I led him in the sinner's prayer, and as we prayed, I felt a profound sense of the Holy Spirit's presence. It was like standing in a tunnel leading to heaven.

Afterward, Juan said, "I need to call my mom and tell her about this." He held up the tract, amazed that God had met him on that bridge and changed his life.

When I reach heaven and see Juan, I'll be glad that I tried evangelizing on that day.
